Add one more example (one more paragraph) and you've got yourself a near perfect score. Great introduction, clear thesis, great structure. But always use three examples. Second paragraph should be longer, it needs a little more support. What did Einstein offer to the world? Talk about his invaluable discoveries and get it closer to the length of the third paragraph. The more you write, the higher the score. Excellent grammar and use of vocabulary, however your final quote seems to contradict your thesis. Hope this helps. Answered by Missy - Wed Jul 14 05:32:53 2010 Is Brandon Marshall really this stupid? Q. Brandon Marshall scored the game-winning touchdown tonight for the Broncos on a late TD pass from Jay Cutler. Afterwards, he reached into his pants and pulled out a glove for what looked like a pre-planned celebration, but before he could do anything, teammate Brandon Stokely ran over to Marshall begging him to stop. Following the game, Marshall explained his thwarted plan to the NFL Network crew. To celebrate Barack Obama's election, Marshall said he wanted to take a page from John Carlos and Tommie Smith's black power demonstration at the 1968 Olympics. Only, 40 years later, Marshall planned to salute the progress made in the country since the Mexico City Games. You have the same story here that I read. It is really stupid for these athletes to be trying to bring politics into sports. The athletes are just that...athletes. They need to play the game and leave the political commentary for when they leave the venue and get to act for themselves. I go to and watch games, concerts, or any other entertainment I go to, so I can get a short reprieve from the world, I do not want it thrown back in my face because the athlete or act I am watching feels he/she needs to put their political bias on display for the world to see, like their opinion is so important. Answered by Broncs4ever - Fri Nov 7 03:47:51 2008 Here is a question and an article for the McCain camp.?
Q. can anyone answer the question seriously? will mccain do anything to win? By Harold Ford Jr. Saturday, October 11, 2008; Page A21 Although our nation's economic house is on fire, John McCain isn't unveiling proposals to put out the fiscal flames. Instead, he is pursuing the presidency by taking the low road, as he and his surrogates attack Barack Obama in harsh, personal terms. It's hard to believe this is the same man who in 2004 said of the Swift-boat attacks against John Kerry: "I deplore this kind of politics. I think the ad is dishonest and dishonorable." In fact, after McCain lost the Republican nomination to George Bush in 2000, he declared that there was a "special place in hell" for the Bush operatives who had run a smear… [cont.] Asked by rastasue - Sat Oct 11 16:44:24 2008 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments A. Pointing out Obama's past associations with known terrorists and the fact that Obama has misled the public about them, is not a "smear". The public has the right to know about these issues. And why Obama chose to lie about them.^ Answered by Todd N - Sat Oct 11 16:53:07 2008 From Yahoo Answer Search: "Personal Pages and Tributes" |
