Question about Kosher eating and Jewish families?
Q. I am very interested in Kosher eating and Jewish family lifestyles. What does a typical Jewish family eat for breakfast and what do they snack on? Serious answers only.

A. The question should be directed to "kosher eating" Jewish people. Unfortunately, many Jews do not keep kosher or do not keep kosher according to the letter of the law. As is the case, many Jews eat pretty much the same as others do for breakfast with one key difference. Bacon is a common breakfast for many non Jews in the Western world (particularly North America) and since pig is not kosher that is out for breakfast. But most typical breakfast staples such as cereal, eggs, milk, OJ, and toast can be had kosher. As far as cereal is concerned, most of the favourite American btands are certified kosher, e.g. Cheerios, Corn Flakes, Raison Bran, Capt'n Crunch, etc. etc.

My ex told me that smoking pot is his "lifestyle" and that I was holding him back. How to deal w/the sadness?
Q. My ex is 33 and I'm 29. We were together for 10 yrs and have a 2 yr old son. The relationship hasnt been perfect but things really started going south when I stopped smoking pot and had our son. I also wanted my ex to grow up. He wants to smoke pot regularly. I think he tried to adjust to the family lifestyle but often complained he didn't feel like he had enough time to himself. I feel bad because I was pretty possessive of his time because I wanted him to spend it with me and our son as he works a lot and only has a day off here and there. He ended up breaking up with me and said it was because we were arguing, which we were. But he also said it's because I was pressuring him to quit pot and it's his "lifestyle" and he "likes living… [cont.]

A. You can't soar with the eagles if you hang around with turkeys! You made a lifestyle change and have greatly decreased your chances of brain malfunction further on in life. I have never taken drugs, but a friend we met ( who's in his 50's ) smoked Mary Jane until he was 45, and his brain is like mush, and he knows himself that he is "a few sandwiches short of a picnic" now. He's still an avid reader, but his speech has been severely affected and he thinks like a child at times, and goes on about inane subjects. If he says he likes a 20 year old at work, he's really not into growing up yet. You are hurt, but in a few years you'll be thankful a drop-kick is no longer in your life. if a fellow employee is asked too stop with his comments non sexual and does not is this concidered harasment?
Q. for over a year now this employee makes comments of my financial situation and family lifestyle. he has been asked a many times too stop. my supervisor and admistrtion have meerly slapped him on the wrist. is there any other recourse or action i can take in order for him too stop

A. Yes, it is still harassment. It creates a "hostile" work environment. Continue to make complains to HR (or whoever would handle a complaint of this nature) about it. If nothing gets done, contact a lawyer.
